Editors

Editors is a British group formed in 2002 in Stafford, Staffordshire, currently based in Birmingham. The band consists of Tom Smith on vocals, guitar and keyboards, Russell Leetch on bass guitar, keyboards and backing vocals, Ed Lay on drums and backing vocals, Elliott Williams on keyboards and guitar, Justin Lockey on guitar, and Benjamin John Power, who joined in 2022. Chris Urbanowicz departed the group in April 2012 after serving as guitarist and keyboardist.

The group's electronic music output spans house, progressive house, deep house, breaks and peak time techno, with releases appearing on Play It Again Sam and Spectrum. Their electronic catalog began in February 2010 and extends through January 2024, totaling six releases across these labels. The material demonstrates range from deeper house grooves to driving techno rhythms, with breakbeat elements incorporated into their productions.
