Effy is the electronic music project of Japanese composer and keyboardist Kosuke Moribu, born July 9, 1987. Based in London, Moribu began his musical career in 1995 and is affiliated with First Call Music Co., Ltd. He has been releasing electronic music under the Effy moniker since 2014, with seven releases documented through 2025.
Effy's sound spans multiple electronic genres, from peak time driving techno and tech house to drum & bass, trance, and electronica. His releases appear primarily on Fragrance Recordings, with his output characterized by progressive breaks elements.
