Egotot

Egotot is the project of Nico Rinker, a techno DJ and producer from Stuttgart, Germany. Rinker founded the record label Schimmer Records and began releasing music under the Egotot moniker in December 2021. He has released seven tracks across multiple labels since establishing the project.

Egotot produces peak time driving techno and raw deep hypnotic techno, releasing music on BCCO, SYXT, AKRONYM, and his own Schimmer Records imprint. His sound spans from driving peak-time tracks designed for main room moments to deeper, more hypnotic productions that build tension through repetitive elements. The project maintains consistent output with releases spanning from late 2021 through 2025, demonstrating Rinker's commitment to both harder-edged techno and more introspective underground sounds suitable for extended DJ sets.
