Ejeca

Ejeca is the project of Belfast-based producer Garry McCartney, who began releasing electronic music in December 2012. McCartney chose the name Ejeca specifically because it returned no Google search results at the time, ensuring a unique identity in the electronic music landscape. He also produces under the alias Trance Wax and runs his own label Exploris, which has become a platform for his evolving sound and select releases from other artists.

Ejeca's music spans house and techno territories, ranging from deep house grooves to peak-time driving techno that commands dancefloor attention. His 55 releases have appeared on respected labels including Shall Not Fade, Last Night On Earth, FLASH, and his own Yom Tum imprint alongside Exploris. His sound has evolved from deeper, more restrained house productions in his early years to incorporating harder-edged tech house and driving techno elements, with his recent output on labels like FLASH showcasing a more peak-time focused approach that maintains his melodic sensibilities while delivering the energy modern dancefloors demand.
