Ekkohaus

Ekkohaus is the production alias of Greek-born Konstantinos Tassopoulos, who operates under several aliases including Kostas Tassopoulos and Data Morgana. Born in 1974, the electronic music producer relocated to Berlin, Germany, where he established his base of operations. Tassopoulos began releasing material under the Ekkohaus moniker in 2010 and has also used the Greek alias Φίλος Φίλου for select projects.

Ekkohaus produces deep house, tech house, and house music, with nine releases documented between 2010 and 2018. His productions span the house spectrum, from the deeper, more atmospheric end of the genre to the driving rhythms of tech house. The Berlin-based producer's sound reflects the city's established house music scene, though his output ceased after April 2018. His music maintains the steady four-on-the-floor foundation characteristic of house music while incorporating elements that bridge the gap between deep house's melodic sensibilities and tech house's more percussive approach.
