Encoder is an electronic music group featuring Pat Berdysz and additional member DJ Cable. The project began releasing music in January 2023, establishing itself within the techno scene through releases on Subsist Records and Speculations LTD.
The group produces peak time and driving techno alongside raw, deep, and hypnotic variations of the genre. Their releases span from 2023 to 2025, with five total releases across their two primary labels. Encoder's sound centers on driving techno rhythms designed for peak-hour club sets, while their deeper material explores hypnotic and raw techno territories that work equally well in underground venues and extended DJ sets.
