Erlend Oye

Erlend Øye is a Norwegian singer, musician and producer born November 21, 1975 in Bergen, Norway. He relocated to Syracuse, Sicily in the early 2010s and began releasing electronic music under his own name in 2013. Øye also produces under the alias Orlando Occhio and operates through the Zatar Music label.

His electronic productions span indie dance, house, deep house, and melodic house & techno, drawing from his background in electropop and indietronica. Øye's releases on Zatar Music since 2013 showcase a warm, melodic approach to house music that reflects both his Scandinavian roots and Mediterranean surroundings. His tracks typically feature mid-tempo grooves suitable for both listening and dancefloor settings, with an emphasis on organic textures and emotive progressions that distinguish his work within the melodic house spectrum.
