Exsiderurgica Artist Bio

Giorgio Cerrato was born in Naples in 1979. Since the beginning he gives himeself body and soul to the MUSIC. In the early 90s he discovers metal resonances which bring him to play the guitar. In the meantime he attends piano lessons and becomes fond of drums, which he plays for several years in a NIRVANA’s tribute band called “Sold Out”. In 1995 he started to be fascinated by the new electronic resonances, which naturally bring him to make use of synthesizers…Through the years he tries out several kinds of music such as: electro, dark, drum’n’bass, techno, etc.. Than he becomes fond of the cinema’s world and so he moves his music to this world staring to compose soundtracks for various short films. He is engaged as compositor from the documentary production’s firm “Cento Canali”. Among his musical projects there are: “ZEDER” (featuring Luigi Rubino from “ASHRAM”) who propose music inspired to horror films, creating obscure and anguishing gigs and “EXSIDDAPH”, an electrodark duet in collaboration with the singer Francesca Fiorenzoni (“DAPHNE”). During these years he is employed at “TRANSILVANIA Live” in Arezzo as resident DJ and art director and he works for the same chain also in other cities. Nowadays Giorgio carries out his solo project named: “EXSIDERURGICA”. He has so far performed in several Italian cities: Rome, Padua, Naples, Arezzo, Fermo, Milan and Reggio Emilia. His present dream is to have the opportunity to sign a contract with a record company.
