Fabrice Lig

Belgian producer Fabrice Lig, born Fabrice Ligny in 1972, hails from Charleroi and began releasing electronic music in 2010. He operates under several aliases including Mauler, Bug Orchestra, and Soul Designer, and runs his own imprint Lig Music alongside his production work. Over his decade-plus career, he has maintained a consistent output across 18 releases, establishing himself within Belgium's techno scene.

Lig's sound spans peak-time driving techno, deep house, and melodic house & techno, with releases appearing on respected labels including Systematic Recordings, Planet E Communications, Melodymathics, and We Play House Recordings. His techno productions lean toward the driving, peak-time end of the spectrum while his house work explores deeper, more melodic territories. The diversity in his label roster, from Carl Craig's Planet E to his own Lig Music, reflects his ability to adapt his sound across different contexts while maintaining the Belgian techno tradition of precise, rhythmic programming.
