Factory Floor

Factory Floor is a British group formed in Hackney in 2005, though they began releasing music in 2008. The trio consists of Gabriel Gurnsey on drums and vocals, Dominic Butler on keyboards and bass, and Nik Colk Void on vocals. The group made their debut release in November 2011 and has maintained an active presence in electronic music for over a decade, with their most recent output appearing in December 2025.

The group operates across multiple electronic territories, blending indie dance with nu disco elements while incorporating driving techno rhythms. Their releases appear on notable labels including DFA and Phantasy Sound, positioning them within the post-industrial electronic rock sphere. Factory Floor's sound encompasses both peak-time driving techno suitable for club environments and more experimental electronica work, demonstrating range from dance floor-focused material to album-format releases. Their approach combines live instrumentation with electronic production, creating music that functions both in DJ sets and as standalone listening experiences.
