Fake Mood
About
Fake Mood is a duo from Saint-Petersburg, Russia comprising Viktor Petrov and Dmitry Kohan. The project launched in 2017 with their first release appearing in March of that year. Viktor Petrov also performs as part of the group Anturage, while both members operate their own record label alongside the Fake Mood project.
Their sound spans melodic house and techno, deep house, and tech house, with occasional ventures into electronica and downtempo territories. Since 2017, Fake Mood has released music across multiple labels including Get Physical Music, Earthly Delights, SOSO, Leveldva, and Time Has Changed Records, accumulating 13 releases through 2025. Their productions typically maintain the deeper, more progressive end of the house spectrum while incorporating techno elements, making their catalog suitable for both peak-time and warm-up sets.
