Fanatico

Fanatico is a duo comprised of Mathias Schaffhäuser and Jorge Socarras. The project began releasing music in May 2012 and remained active through November 2015, producing five releases exclusively on the BluFin label during this period.

The duo's sound spans house, tech house, deep house, and minimal/deep tech territories, with occasional electronica influences. Their BluFin releases demonstrate a focus on deeper, more minimal approaches to house music, ranging from the driving rhythms of tech house to the atmospheric textures of deep house. Fanatico's three-year run on BluFin showcased a consistent aesthetic that balanced dancefloor functionality with subtle electronic experimentation, making their catalog suitable for both peak-time and after-hours DJ sets.
