Fantastic Man

Fantastic Man is the project of Australian producer and DJ Mic Newman, who originates from Melbourne but is now based in Berlin. Newman has been releasing music under the Fantastic Man moniker since 2012, with his first release appearing on July 10th of that year. He also operates under the alias Mind Lotion, showcasing different facets of his production work across multiple identities.

His sound spans deep house, techno, and melodic house territories, with releases distributed across respected labels including Mule Musiq, Superconscious Records, Kitjen, Love International Recordings, and Kalahari Oyster Cult. Newman's productions incorporate elements of acid house and lo-fi house, creating tracks that range from driving peak-time techno to more introspective deep house material. With 14 releases tracked through December 2024, his catalog demonstrates consistent output across the electronic music spectrum, offering DJs versatile material suitable for both warehouse floors and intimate club settings.
