Felix Da Housecat

Felix da Housecat is Felix Stallings Jr., an American electronic artist, producer and DJ born August 27, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois. He operates under several aliases including Aphrohead, Thee Maddkatt Courtship, and Sharkimaxx. Stallings has run multiple labels throughout his career, starting with Radikal Fear and Thee Blak Label in conjunction with Play It Again Sam Records, before launching Clashbackk Recordings in 1996, Rude Photo in 2003, and most recently Founders Of Filth in 2017.

His sound spans indie dance, house, tech house, and both peak time driving techno and raw deep hypnotic techno. Felix da Housecat releases on labels including his own Founders Of Filth, plus ARMS & LEGS, EI8HT, Crosstown Rebels, and Classic Music Company. With 37 releases tracked since 2016, his output maintains the Chicago house foundation while incorporating big beat, electronica, and synth-pop elements. His productions range from driving peak-time techno cuts suitable for main room moments to deeper, more hypnotic tracks that work in underground settings.
