Fever Ray

Fever Ray is the solo project of Swedish artist Karin Elisabeth Dreijer, born April 7, 1975, in Nacka, Sweden. Dreijer co-founded the electronica duo The Knife with their brother Olof Dreijer before launching the Fever Ray project. The artist began releasing electronic music under the Fever Ray moniker in 2023, with their first release appearing in August of that year.

Fever Ray's sound spans Deep House, Melodic House & Techno, Tech House, Afro House, and House, delivering material that ranges from groove-focused productions to more atmospheric compositions. The artist has released six tracks between August 2023 and December 2025, working across various tempos within the house music spectrum. Their approach combines melodic sensibilities with rhythmic elements drawn from both European house traditions and Afro House influences, creating dancefloor-oriented music that maintains emotional depth through careful sound design and arrangement choices.
