Fog operates as a Minneapolis-based group formed in 1999, featuring members Andrew Broder, Michael Lewis, Jeremy Ylvisaker, Mark Erickson, and Martin Dosh. The collective began releasing electronic music through Electrobuzz-tracked labels in November 2009, establishing connections with Frole Records, Gents & Dandy's, and Metroline Limited across their catalog of 22 documented releases.

Fog produces music spanning deep house, tech house, and minimal deep tech territories, with occasional ventures into peak time driving techno. Their releases appear consistently across specialized electronic labels, with their most recent output scheduled for September 2025. The group's sound draws from their Minneapolis indie rock origins while incorporating folktronica and glitch elements, creating house music that operates at both deeper, atmospheric tempos and more driving, club-ready energies across their 16-year electronic music trajectory.
