Fold

Fold is a UK-Irish electronic duo from Cornwall that began releasing music in 2010. The group includes Ben Walsh and incorporates MCs, poets, historical speakers and singers into their productions to amplify undervalued perspectives and critical reflections. They have released 10 tracks across labels including Aus Music and Shall Not Fade, with their most recent release appearing in 2025.

Fold's sound spans deep house, house, and peak time driving techno, drawing from jazz-funk, Brazilian music, psychedelic, hip-hop and downtempo influences. Their releases on Aus Music and Shall Not Fade demonstrate a wide-ranging approach that moves between contemplative deep house productions and more driving techno tracks. The duo's incorporation of diverse vocal elements and genre-blending approach creates music that functions both as dancefloor material and as more experimental listening experiences.
