Format:B is a German electronic music duo comprising Jakob Hildenbrand and Franziskus Sell, formed in 2005. The duo founded their own imprint Formatik Records and began releasing music in 2010, establishing themselves as consistent producers with 23 releases spanning over a decade of activity through 2025.
Their sound centers on tech house and driving techno, with excursions into deep house territory across releases on labels including their own Formatik, WTF! Music, Toolroom, Natura Viva, and Clepsydra. Format:B delivers peak-time energy with driving basslines and club-ready arrangements designed for main room dancefloors.
