Formel is a Dutch DJ and producer duo consisting of Tom Noah and Bas van der Laken, based in Leiden, Netherlands. The group formed in 2010 and began releasing music in 2013, establishing themselves within the Dutch electronic music scene over nearly a decade of activity.
Formel produces deep house, progressive house, tech house, and melodic house & techno, with releases spanning from 2013 to 2019 across seven recorded outputs. The duo has released music on Manual Music, Save Room Recordings, Replug, and MNL, demonstrating their versatility across multiple imprints within the house music spectrum. Their sound encompasses both the deeper, more atmospheric side of house music and the driving energy of tech house, making their catalog suitable for both peak-time and deeper set moments.
