Forward Strategy Group

Forward Strategy Group is a Glasgow-based duo comprised of Patrick Walker and Al Matthews. The group formed in 2008 and began releasing music in 2012. They operate their own record label alongside their production work, establishing themselves as both artists and curators within the underground techno circuit.

Forward Strategy Group produces peak time driving techno and raw deep hypnotic techno, releasing music through Triple Vision Music Group and Methodical. Their sound spans dense, hypnotic arrangements designed for club dancefloors, with releases appearing consistently from 2012 through 2025. The duo's approach centers on deep, layered productions that maintain the intensity required for peak time sets while incorporating the subtle complexity characteristic of hypnotic techno subgenres.
