Framewerk

Framewerk is a British duo comprising Darren James and Alec Milliner, formed in early 2013 to create deep house and nu disco music. The group has also released music under the aliases Manhattan and Cimmera, with their first documented release appearing in January 2015. Over their decade-long career, Framewerk has released six tracks and albums through labels including Capital Heaven and Sleazy Deep.

Their sound has evolved significantly from their original deep house and nu disco foundations toward progressive breaks and progressive house. Current releases span deep house, tech house, electronica, and breaks, typically maintaining what they describe as a deep atmospheric quality across genres. DJs can expect material ranging from deeper, more contemplative house tracks to higher-energy progressive breaks, with their most recent release scheduled for August 2025 indicating continued activity in the progressive house and breaks sphere.
