Friends

Friends is a Swedish group that formed in 1999 for the reality TV series "Friends på turné." The band consists of Stefan Brunzell, Paula Pennsäter, Nina Inhammar, Kim Kärnfalk, and Marko Siila, operating as a "dansbandpop" act that split in 2002. Despite their pop origins, the group began releasing electronic music in 2010, with their first release appearing on February 2nd of that year and continuing through 2025.

Their electronic output spans tech house, deep house, and peak time driving techno, with releases appearing on Black Butter Records and Category 1 Music. The group has produced 10 releases over their electronic career, incorporating elements of electronica alongside their house and techno productions. Their sound represents a complete departure from their original Swedish pop identity, focusing on club-oriented material suitable for peak time DJ sets across house and techno environments.
