Frigid Armadillo

Frigid Armadillo is a deep house duo from South Africa who began releasing music in August 2022. The producers have released seven tracks across labels including Aluku Records and Defected, with their most recent release appearing in March 2026 on Top Tracks of 2025.

The duo produces afro house, tribal house, and melodic house & techno, incorporating 3-step rhythms and afro tech elements into their compositions. Their releases on Defected position them within the established house music circuit, while their work spans from jackin house grooves to more melodic productions. The South African producers blend traditional afro house percussion with contemporary deep house structures, creating tracks suitable for both peak-time and deeper sets.
