The local duo of Repro and Adam Askov – co-founders of the Euromantic label – have become recognized as the makers of one of the purest embodiments of Copenhagen’s fast techno sound, combining intense rhythms with an ultra-melodious, heartstring-tugging melancholy. 2018’s Hard Candy EP on Euromantic gives the most complete recorded representation of their sound to date, and a taste of what they’ve been coming up with since can be heard in the sumptuous closer to Kulør 001.
