Fur Coat

Fur Coat is a Barcelona-based electronic music act originally from Venezuela, founded as a duo by Sergio Muñoz and Israel Salazar. The group began releasing music in September 2012 and co-founded their own label Oddity Records. Israel Salazar departed the project in early 2021, leaving Muñoz to continue Fur Coat as a solo act.
The project produces melodic house and techno alongside tech house, deep house, and driving techno across 37 releases. Fur Coat has appeared on established labels including Renaissance Records, Last Night On Earth, Crosstown Rebels, and Watergate Records in addition to their own Oddity imprint. Their sound spans from deeper, more atmospheric house tracks to peak-time driving techno, maintaining consistent melodic elements throughout their catalog that appeals to both underground and main room DJs.
