Gallo

Italian producer Matteo Gallerani operates under the Gallo moniker from his base in Berlin, where he has been releasing music since June 2015. He also performs under the aliases Juan Carlos Ulloa and Sergio Gallo, and maintains membership in the collective Balearic Gabba Soundsystem. Over nearly a decade, Gallo has delivered 24 releases across his various projects.

Gallo's output spans house, tech house, deep house, and afro house territories, with releases appearing on respected imprints including Glasgow Underground, Armada Subjekt, Mother Recordings, Inhouse, and Soul Heaven Records. His sound ranges from the deeper, more contemplative end of house music to the driving rhythms of tech house, with recent ventures into afro house adding percussive elements to his palette. The consistency of his release schedule, with his most recent output arriving in December 2024, demonstrates his continued activity across multiple subgenres of four-four dance music.
