Garden City Movement

Garden City Movement is a three-piece electronic group from Tel Aviv, Israel that formed in 2013. The band consists of Roey Avital on vocals, keyboards, and guitars, Yoav Saar on guitars, sampler, and keyboards, and Jonathan Sharoni on vocals, guitars, sampler, and percussion. They began releasing music on Electrobuzz in March 2018 and have issued six releases on the platform through December 2025.

The group produces deep house and Afro house tracks that span tech house territories, with releases appearing on Late Night Tales and Crosstown Rebels. Their sound blends electronic production with indie pop sensibilities and trip hop influences, creating house music that operates at mid-tempo ranges suitable for both dancefloor and listening contexts. Garden City Movement's music has evolved from their earlier chillwave-influenced material toward more club-focused deep house productions, with recent releases demonstrating stronger Afro house elements and tech house percussion patterns.
