Genex
About
Jim van de Ruit operates under the Genex moniker from Haarlem, Netherlands. The Dutch producer entered the techno scene in August 2022 with his debut release, establishing himself as a focused artist within the underground circuit over the past three years.
Genex delivers raw, deep hypnotic techno alongside peak time driving compositions that span the intensity spectrum of contemporary techno production. His releases appear on respected imprints including Planet Rhythm, AKRONYM, and FORMAT Records, with five documented releases between 2022 and 2025. The music balances meditative, hypnotic elements with driving peak time energy, positioning his tracks for both introspective listening and dance floor deployment across different points in a DJ set.
