Dutch producer Gerd, real name Gert-Jan Bijl, began releasing electronic music in 2011 and operates multiple record labels including 4 Lux Records, Fortek, Lifeworld, Rize Radical, Amplified, and Frame of Mind. He has released music under aliases Metro Dade and B.S.O. Research, establishing himself as both an artist and label head within the Netherlands' electronic music scene.
Gerd produces house, deep house, tech house, and afro house tracks, with occasional ventures into peak time driving techno.
