GMJ

GMJ is the house music project of Melbourne-based producer Gavin Martin, who launched the alias in 2017 with his debut release on Proton Music. Martin also operates under the Fulcrum alias, exploring different sonic territories within electronic music production. Since establishing GMJ, he has maintained a consistent output with 28 releases across nearly eight years of activity.

GMJ produces progressive house and deep house tracks that emphasize funky and deep tekky elements, releasing primarily on respected labels including Proton Music, Balance Music, Meanwhile, Particles, and Open Records. His sound centers around groove-driven progressive house structures with deep house influences, crafting tracks suitable for both peak-time and deeper set moments. The project has evolved from its initial progressive house focus to incorporate broader house music elements while maintaining the funky, tech-influenced approach that defines his releases across multiple established electronic music imprints.
