Gorge is German DJ and producer Peter Felix Waldmann from Mannheim who began releasing music in 2009. He runs 8bit Records alongside Nick Curly and operates under several aliases including Amaris and Asp. Waldmann also remains involved with the Re:Fresh Your Mind label, expanding his influence across multiple imprints in the German house scene.
His sound centers on deep house and tech house with melodic elements, spanning 110 releases across labels including 8bit, Pracht, Still Hot, and Knee Deep In Sound. Gorge's productions typically maintain the warm, groove-focused characteristics of deep house while incorporating the driving percussion elements of tech house. His output has remained consistent from his 2009 debut through 2023, establishing him as a steady presence in the German underground house circuit with releases that cater to both intimate club environments and peak-time dance floor moments.
