Gramma Funk
About
Gramma Funk is the stage name of Toi Sojer-Sacchi, a California-based songwriter and vocalist who also operates under the alias Toi Sojer. She gained recognition as the vocalist on Groove Armada's "I See You Baby" and previously worked as a DJ at KJLH Radio in Los Angeles. Gramma Funk began releasing electronic music in June 2025, with ten releases appearing across major house labels within seven months.
Her sound spans house, deep house, and raw techno, with releases appearing on Defected and its subsidiary dftd. Gramma Funk incorporates Afro house elements into her productions, creating tracks that range from hypnotic deep cuts to festival-ready anthems. Her rapid output through 2025 demonstrates a focus on dancefloor functionality, with her December releases landing on Defected's "Top Tracks of 2025" compilation, indicating strong DJ support for her house-leaning productions.
