Grant Nelson

Grant Nelson is a London-based producer and DJ born April 27, 1971, who began his career in 1990 producing breakbeat hardcore and techno under the alias Wishdokta for Kickin Records. He co-founded Nice 'N' Ripe in 1993, which became influential in the UK garage scene development. Nelson has operated under multiple aliases including Bump & Flex for 2-step garage releases starting in 1997, and The Rhythm Construction Co. His production career spans from 1990 to present, with releases documented on Electrobuzz from 2012 through 2025.

Nelson produces across house, deep house, tech house, and funky house genres, with recent releases appearing on Reel People Music and KNOW WHERE labels. His sound encompasses the full spectrum of house music tempos and energy levels, from deep house grooves to more driving tech house rhythms.
