Groove Delight

Groove Delight is the project of Dutch DJ and producer Lucien Foort, who originates from Dordrecht in the Netherlands. Born in 1969, Foort operates under several aliases including Funk Function and DJ Luciano, with his Groove Delight moniker launching its first release in September 2014. The project has maintained consistent output with eight releases spanning over a decade, extending into 2026.

Groove Delight's sound traverses multiple electronic territories, moving between indie dance and tech house while incorporating peak time techno, deep dubstep elements, and Afro house rhythms. The project releases primarily through Glasgow Underground, a label known for its eclectic house and techno roster. This genre-spanning approach delivers tracks suitable for both peak-time dancefloor moments and deeper, more introspective sets, with the Afro house influence adding percussive complexity to the traditional European house framework.
