Gunjack

Gunjack is the alias of Brian Gibbs, a Los Angeles native who has maintained an active presence in electronic music since the early 2000s. Gibbs has operated from multiple cities throughout his career, founding Deafmosaic while residing in Tokyo, Japan, before moving to Spain where he released material through Jaxx Records in Madrid. He later relocated to Santiago, Chile while running his CONSUME label, and currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he founded DUBWARS. Gibbs also produces under the Echo Park alias.

Gunjack specializes in raw, deep, and hypnotic techno alongside peak time driving variants, releasing material through Planet Rhythm, Urban Kickz Recordings, Globoffcorp, and materia since 2023. His sound encompasses both the stripped-down intensity of raw techno and the momentum-building characteristics of peak time material, making his releases suitable for both deeper club moments and main floor energy. With 10 releases documented between August 2023 and February 2026, Gunjack maintains consistent output across multiple respected techno imprints while continuing to develop his label operations from his Minneapolis base.
