About
Gunnter is the production alias of Gauthier Deschateaux, a French DJ and producer based in Rennes. He launched his recording career in January 2020 and operates two labels: Rutilance Recordings alongside DJ Steaw, and Normandy Records. Over five years, he has released 13 tracks across multiple imprints, establishing himself within France's house and techno circuit.
His sound spans deep house, minimal/deep tech, and tech house, with occasional ventures into peak time techno. Gunnter releases primarily on his own Rutilance Recordings and Normandy Records, while also appearing on Dreams On Wax, Aku, and BienAimer Music. His productions favor the deeper end of the house spectrum, typically featuring rolling basslines and stripped-back arrangements that work equally well in intimate club settings and larger dance floors.
