Haptic

Haptic is an Australian electronic music producer whose real name is Mark Forester, based in Sydney but originally from Newcastle. The project began releasing music in 2016, with tracks appearing on labels including Sincopat, Einmusika Recordings, Suara, This And That, and Microcastle. Haptic has released 16 tracks since 2016, with releases scheduled through 2025.

Haptic produces progressive house, melodic house & techno, tech house, indie dance, and electronica. The tracks span from deep house's warmer territories to techno's more driving elements, with releases on Sincopat and Einmusika Recordings positioning the project within the melodic underground scene. Suara releases demonstrate a tech house approach, while This And That and Microcastle showcase the project's indie dance and electronica range. The sound combines house music's rhythmic foundation with melodic progressions suited for both peak-time and deeper dance floor moments.
