Sergei Omorokov operates under the alias Hatewax, producing techno that has gained support from established artists including Joris Voorn, Alan Fitzpatrick, Nicole Moudaber, and Chris Liebing. The producer began releasing music in April 2023 and has since issued 13 releases across multiple labels. Hatewax produces raw, deep, and hypnotic techno alongside peak time driving material suitable for main room sets. The music spans both underground and peak time contexts, with releases scheduled through February 2027 indicating consistent output. Support from John Digweed, Guy J, and Jay Lumen demonstrates the producer's appeal across different techno subgenres, from progressive-leaning sounds to harder driving tracks that work in festival settings.
