HOF(DE)

HOF(DE) is a Dutch electronic music producer whose real name is Anthonius J. op 't Hof. Born in 1947, he originally worked as a drummer, producer and songwriter in the 1970s rock scene, performing as a session musician and member of bands including Heart, Limousine and Rainbow Train before joining Sandy Coast in the late 1980s. He began releasing electronic music in July 2023, marking a significant departure from his earlier rock and pop compositions.

His electronic output spans techno, Afro house, deep house, and indie dance, with releases appearing on Fe Chrome, Drumcode, and Kurai Records since 2023. The music ranges from peak time driving techno to more melodic house productions, demonstrating versatility across different energy levels and moods within the house and techno spectrum. His seven releases between 2023 and 2026 show an artist adapting his decades of production experience to contemporary electronic dance music formats.
