Hot Chip

Hot Chip formed in London in 2000 as a multi-member group featuring Alexis Taylor, Joe Goddard, Al Doyle, Owen Clarke, and Felix Martin, with Rob Smoughton and Leo Taylor contributing to live performances and studio recordings. The English collective began releasing electronic music through Domino Records, with their first documented release appearing in December 2010. The group operates under the alias Booji Boy High and has maintained a consistent presence in electronic music for over two decades.

Hot Chip produces tech house, deep house, and nu disco tracks that span electronic and house genres with synthpop influences.
