Hotmood
About
Hotmood is Guillermo Gonzalez Santana, a DJ and producer from Playa del Carmen, Mexico. He began releasing music in November 2018 and has since delivered 27 releases across various labels in the electronic music scene. His catalog spans multiple imprints including Discoweey, Decade Records, Monophony, Bombstrikes, and Ravanelli Disco Club.
His sound centers on nu disco and house music, drawing heavily from funk and disco influences. Hotmood's productions sit comfortably in deep house territory while maintaining the groove-focused approach that defines his Mexican perspective on disco-house fusion. His releases on labels like Discoweey and Ravanelli Disco Club showcase his ability to craft floor-ready tracks that blend classic disco elements with contemporary house production techniques. The consistent output across these specialized disco and house labels positions him as a reliable source for DJs seeking funk-infused dance floor material with Latin warmth.
