Human Resource

Human Resource is a Dutch techno group from Rotterdam that formed in 1991, originally established by Robert Mahu and Johan van Beek. The group expanded to include keyboardists Jasper Drexhage and Guido Pernet, along with rapper and former professional basketball player Larenzo Nash, with all members originating from Ridderkerk, Netherlands. After Johan van Beek departed in 1992, rapper Marvin D joined the group in 1993 but left in 1995, while the current lineup includes Maurice Steenbergen, Larenzo Nash, and Zenon Zevenbergen alongside founding members.

The group produces peak time driving techno and hard dance tracks, with their sound spanning from raw hypnotic techno to hardcore and neo rave elements. Human Resource releases on Armada Music and its subsidiary Armada Music Albums, with their catalog including tech house and traditional house productions alongside their heavier material. Their 11 releases since 2020 demonstrate a range from deep techno grooves to high-energy hardcore compositions, maintaining the driving intensity that characterized their early gabber and hardcore techno work while incorporating contemporary techno production techniques.
