Icarus

Icarus is a Bristol-based house and garage duo comprising Ollie Bown and Sam Britton, who formed the group in 2013. The pair originated from Hereford before establishing themselves in Bristol's electronic music scene. They founded the label Not Applicable in 2002 and began releasing music under the Icarus moniker in July 2016.

The duo produces deep house, melodic house and techno, alongside breaks and UK bass, with releases spanning labels including Anjunadeep, FFRR, REALM Records, and FUNKSHWAY. Their sound incorporates garage influences with contemporary house production, reflecting their British electronic music roots. Since their first release in 2016, Icarus has maintained consistent output with eleven releases, demonstrating their evolution from garage-influenced productions to more refined deep house and melodic techno tracks suitable for both underground club environments and festival main stages.
