III operates as a Japanese sound production unit founded in 2003, serving as the in-house audio team for Inti Creates. The group functions with Ippo Yamada as the consistent core member, while other contributors including Masaki Suzuki, Yu Shimoda, Hiroki Isogai, and Luna Umegaki rotate between projects and releases. III began releasing electronic music in 2011 and has maintained activity through 2024, accumulating 13 releases across their electronic music catalog.

The project delivers house-centered productions spanning deep house, nu disco, indie dance, and tech house territories. III releases material through Acker Records and Positiva, crafting tracks that blend disco influences with contemporary house structures. Their sound incorporates the energy and precision associated with their video game music background, translating into dance floor material that maintains both melodic accessibility and rhythmic drive suitable for club environments.
