Illyus Barrientos

Illyus & Barrientos is a Glasgow-based production duo comprising Illyus Brown and Ivan Barrientos, who began collaborating in 2014. The pair emerged from Glasgow's underground electronic music scene and have established themselves as regular contributors to Toolroom Records, one of tech house's most prominent labels.

Their sound centers on tech house and deep house, delivering tracks that range from driving club anthems to more melodic dancefloor cuts. The duo releases primarily on Toolroom, but has also appeared on labels including Bombstrikes, IN/Rotation through Insomniac Records, Edible, and Club Sweat. Their productions typically maintain the punchy, groove-focused approach characteristic of modern tech house, with tracks that work equally well in peak-time club sets and deeper underground sessions. Beyond their core house output, they have also ventured into drum & bass, demonstrating their versatility across electronic music's tempo spectrum.
