Increased Control Artist Bio

Increased Control (real name Giovanni Torricelli), was born in 1995, in Florence. Passionate from an early age to video games/films with dystopian plots and post-apocalyptic scenarios, he is quickly captured by the “left” musical components that characterizes them. As he grows older, he will unconsciously try to find a way to get in direct contact with aggressive/disturbing/dramatic sounds and interact with them. Lover of ambient drone/noise/industrial music, he grew up listening to artists like Atrax Morgue and other exponents of the scene; here was born his way of conceiving the resonant metallic textures that characterize parts of his productions. Moved to Berlin, he goes in search of abandoned and ruined places that take him back to the moments of adolescence; this fortifies his path towards an ever more decisive and detailed soundesign that represents him; a soundesign that mixes analog and digital synthesis together. His attempt, is to convey to the listener a feeling of complete abandonment to the value of time and the pleasure of getting in touch with his primordial fears. Read more on Last.fm.
