Inner City is an American house and techno group formed in Detroit in 1988 by producer Kevin Saunderson, one of the Belleville Three who originated the Detroit Techno sound alongside Juan Atkins and Derrick May. The group initially featured Chicago native Shanna Jackson, also known as Paris Grey, with Kevin's wife Ann Saunderson later joining the lineup. Current members include Dantiez Saunderson and Steffanie Christian, and the group has operated under the alias Chanel.

The group produces house and techno across multiple subgenres, ranging from peak time driving techno to raw deep hypnotic varieties, alongside tech house and Afro house. Inner City releases on major labels including Armada Music, KMS Records, Network Records, and Defected, with their most recent catalog spanning from 2015 to 2025 across 30 releases.
