INSOLATE

INSOLATE is the project of Croatian producer Sunčica Barišić, based in Osijek. She began releasing music in 2015 and operates under the alias Miss Sunshine alongside her main moniker. Barišić runs the Out Of Place label, which serves as a platform for her own productions and releases from other artists in the techno sphere.

Her sound spans raw and hypnotic techno through to peak-time driving cuts, with releases appearing on respected imprints including Suara, Deeply Rooted House, Symbolism, and Metempsychosis Records. INSOLATE's productions venture beyond standard techno frameworks, incorporating elements from Afro house, ambient textures, and breakbeat influences across her 18 releases to date. Her tracks typically deliver the intensity expected for peak-time club sets while maintaining the deeper, more hypnotic qualities that define contemporary European techno.
