iO (Mulen)

iO (Mulen) is a Ukrainian electronic music project from Kiev that began in 2009 as a duo comprising Aleksandr Voznichenko and Artem Zhovtobriukh. The project now operates as a solo act led by Aleksandr Voznichenko following the departure of his original partner. iO runs Mulen Records, serving as both artist and label head since launching the imprint.

iO produces minimal tech, tech house, deep house, and house music that has found homes on respected labels including One Records, Rawax, and Infuse alongside releases on his own Mulen Records. The project's sound spans the deeper end of the electronic spectrum, delivering tracks that work equally well in intimate club settings and peak-time dance floors. Since the first release in 2013, iO has maintained consistent output with 27 releases, showcasing an evolution from the duo's original deeper house focus toward more tech-influenced minimal productions while retaining the melodic sensibilities that define the Ukrainian house scene.
