Jacek Sienkiewicz

Jacek Sienkiewicz is a Polish DJ and producer born in Warsaw in 1976. He began DJing in 1995 during the first wave of underground parties in early 90s Warsaw, initially playing ambient music before transitioning to electronic music production. In 2000, he founded Recognition, establishing himself as a label owner alongside his artist career. He also releases under the Recognition alias.

Sienkiewicz produces minimal/deep tech, techno, and tech house across a spectrum from hypnotic deep cuts to peak time driving tracks. His releases appear on Recognition, Pets Recordings, and International Day Off, with his catalog spanning from 2009 to present day. His sound encompasses raw/deep/hypnotic techno as well as more accessible tech house, making his tracks suitable for both underground sets and peak time floor moments. The Warsaw-based artist maintains a consistent output across multiple sub-genres within the techno sphere.
